Lane Johnson is no longer a rookie for the Philadelphia Eagles. That's a very nice thing for his bank account. And his taste buds.
The Eagles second-year lineman posted a photo over the weekend of a receipt from Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse in Center City along with the caption, "Rookie dinner."
UPDATE: Lane talks about the dinner with reporters on Monday:

The bill was for a whopping $17,747.86. That's with the auto-gratuity included. I would assume some pro ballers would go above and beyond there, so $18k+ seems easily reachable.
Let's take a look at the big ticket items, all of which were the booze:
14 Remy Martin Louis XIII 1 ounce pour = $3,150
2 Harlan Estate Cab 2006 = $2,990
1 Shafer Cab Hillside Select 2009 3 Ltr = $2,850
1 Screaming Eagle Cab 2005 = $3,495
Toss in a couple more two-ounce pours of the Remy Martin Louis XIII and you've got yourself a nice little down payment on a house a pretty hefty dinner tab.
Also, someone ordered a Bud Light.
I will say though, a 32 ounce long bone ribeye sounds pretty damn glorious.
So what's the moral of this story? If you're going to order the top shelf wine at a steakhouse in Philly, make sure you have an Eagles rookie around to foot the bill.
Any guesses as to which rookies had to fork over for this one? And who ordered the Bud Light?
UPDATE: Johnson said that he split the bill with a couple other guys. No big deal.
