Based on Strat-O-Matic’s simulation of MLB’s Opening Day on Thursday, the Giants didn’t open up the season strong. Starting pitcher Johnny Cueto and San Francisco lost 10-3 to the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium, as the team issued 10 walks.
Mauricio Dubon made his first career start in center field in the simulation, and ended up with an error in the final box score, much to Dubon’s dismay.
