Molly Solomon
Executive Producer & President, NBC Olympics & Paralympics Production
One of the most accomplished producers in sports television, Molly Solomon was named Executive Producer & President, NBC Olympics & Paralympics Production, in November 2019. Called “the most successful female sports TV executive of all-time” by Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, Solomon leads all day-to-day content production for NBCUniversal’s Olympic and Paralympic Games coverage.
Solomon most recently oversaw production for the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympic Winter Games, which averaged 23.5 million viewers and became the most-watched Winter Games since 2014. In 2024, she led production of the Paris Olympic Games, one of NBCUniversal’s most successful Olympic presentations, averaging more than 30 million viewers per day and earning 10 Sports Emmy Awards.
Solomon became the first woman to serve as executive producer for a national sports network with her appointment at GOLF Channel. From 2012-23, she served as Executive Vice President of Content and Executive Producer, overseeing the network’s production, programming, tournament coverage, news, original productions and operations, including golf’s return to the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016.
Her Olympic production career spans more than three decades. Before her Golf Channel role, Solomon served as Coordinating Producer of NBC Olympics from 2006-12 and held key production roles across NBCUniversal’s coverage starting with Barcelona 1992. For NBCUniversal’s coverage of London 2012 -- which remains the most-watched event in U.S. television history -- Solomon produced the nightly primetime show and the highly acclaimed Opening Ceremony.
An 18-time Emmy Award winner, Solomon has also won Gracie Awards for her Beijing and Paris Olympics work and was a producer on NBC Sports’ Peabody Award-winning coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony. Her honors include WISE “Woman of the Year,” Sports Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40,” Adweek’s Most Powerful Women in Sports and New York Festivals’ Lifetime Achievement Award.
A Phi Beta Kappa member, Solomon graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a bachelor’s degree in international politics.
