BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. ' Tiger Woods can ride a stationary bike during his slow recovery from season-ending knee surgery, and he said Tuesday he can move around enough to start putting if he wanted to.

But he doesnt want to.

I have absolutely no interest, he told ESPN Radio. Im not competing until next year, so Ive got another five months to kill.

Hes not much interested in watching golf, either.

Woods said he only watched the last two holes of the British Open, which Padraig Harrington won at Royal Birkdale. And he said he probably wont watch any of the PGA Championship this week.

This one is more frustrating because Im the two-time defending champion, Woods said.

He offered no timetable for a return, only saying that hell be hitting balls at some point next year. He said he wont return any earlier than five months, but it could be longer if he has any setbacks from reconstructive surgery on his left knee.

‘Its a frustrating process for any athlete whos ever gone through it, to be at the top of the game, moving around, and all of a sudden, going to the bathroom is one of the hardest things to do, he said. Its been a struggle. Its also been a great learning experience.
