No doubt President Donald Trump was pulling for Jim Herman to win Sunday at Innisbrook, but it turned out Herman wasn’t the only player with a powerful politician in his corner.
Valspar winner Adam Hadwin received a congratulatory tweet from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after his one-shot win over Patrick Cantlay.
Congratulations to Abbotsford's @ahadwingolf on winning the PGA's #ValsparChampionship today, and all the best on your upcoming wedding!

Hadwin also received praise from his fellow Canadian pros:
2nd win of the year for a Canadian on Tour. Awesome stuff @ahadwingolf! Next up, wedding, then Augusta!
