Champions crowned in Amateur Tours Senior Division

Just one month after beating cancer, Orlandos William Raub captured the Jones Senior Flight in the Golf Channel Amateur Tours Senior National Championship.

Raub was one of six winners, in different flights, at Disneys Magnolia Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The other winners were:

James Long (Dallas, Texas Tour), Championship Senior Flight

Richard Mauersberg (Washington, D.C. Tour), Palmer Senior Flight

Kelly Smith (Oklahoma City, Okla. Tour), Hogan Senior Flight

Ken Downing (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Tour), Sarazen Senior Flight

Vic Okler (St. Louis, Mo. Tour), Snead Senior Flight

There are two National Championships remaining for the Golf Channels Amateur Tour. The Team Championship takes place Oct. 11-13 in Central Florida as does the Mid-Am Championship, Oct. 15-18.
