Tip of the Week: Work the ball in both directions

Thumbnail

There are many teaching and playing professionals who believe a straight shot is one of the most difficult golf shots to hit.

Those pros would subscribe to the theory that curving the ball is much easier.

Plenty of golfers of all ability levels can successfully curve the ball in one direction, but being able to hit draws and fades on command is a rare skill.

Corey Pavin won 15 times on the PGA Tour and was always renowned for his ability to work the golf ball.

In this video segment, Pavin is going to show you how making setup and grip changes will allow you to hit draws and fades with ease.

Put this advice to use the next time you practice and you’ll soon be able to move the ball left to right and right to left, a skill that will help you play better golf and shoot lower scores.
