Lucas Glover’s double bogey on his first hole of 2010 never looked so good considering he started his week at Bethpage last June with a double bogey on his way to becoming the U.S. Open “rain king.”
You also have to like Glover’s ability to juggle family and game. For last October’s Grand Slam of Golf the U.S. Open champion flew his family, as well as most members of Team Lucas, to Bermuda for the week. For the season opener he travelled with his wife, Jennifer, and her parents to Maui on Jan. 1.
Regardless of what happens this week at Kapalua, he’s already scored huge son-in-law points.
