Paul Goydos received a text message from his pal and PGA Tour veteran Billy Andrade after Goydos shot 59 Thursday at the John Deere Classic.
Andrade told Tim Rosaforte, Mark Wood and myself on our ‘Golf World on Air’ radio show today that his message went something like this: “Paul, you’re the only guy who can shoot 59 and lead a tournament by one shot.”
Goydos’ reply?
“Billy, I’m the only guy who can shoot 59 and wake up the next morning three shots behind.”
