WWE’s Rawley finds new tag team partner: Tim Burke

Thumbnail

Wrestlemania 33 has taken over Orlando, Fla. with a series of events leading up to the “showcase of the immortals” at Camping World Stadium (the erstwhile Citrus Bowl) on Sunday night.

Included in the WWE’s schedule was - believe it or not - the Wrestlemania Pro-Am, held at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes Golf Club on Friday morning.

Now you may or may not be familiar with WWE’s Mojo Rawley, a Smackdown Live superstar best known for staying hype and being legit friends with Rob Gronkowski:

@WWE #Wrestlemania Ready. Getting my mind right with my brother @Gronk. Next Sunday it’s going down. I’m winning that Battle Royal!!! #MojoRising #TeamJB A post shared by Dean Muhtadi (@mojorawleywwe) on Mar 22, 2017 at 5:22pm PDT

Rawley, who will compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Sunday, was on hand at the Ritz on Friday and made himself a fast friend in two-time World Long Drive champion Tim Burke, who at 6-6, 230 has the size and strength to lay the smackdown all on his own.

Mojo, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship:

They don’t get hyped. They *stay* hyped! @timburkegolf and @mojorawleywwe are the NEW @wwe and @worldlongdrive tag team champions! A post shared by Golf Channel (@golfchannel) on Mar 31, 2017 at 9:50am PDT

Wanna smash 400-yard drives like @timburkegolf? All you need is a little hype from @mojorawleywwe! A post shared by Golf Channel (@golfchannel) on Mar 31, 2017 at 10:23am PDT
