OK, I’ll admit to bailing on my prediction that Tiger Woods would win his fifth Masters later today. I don’t pull such stunts very often, especially when it involves dumping TW on a Sunday, but I am a realist, and I really don’t see Woods rallying from four back with a putter that has misbehaved most of the week.
If he was chasing you and me, Tiger could trail by seven and still have one arm in the green jacket. Lee Westwood? Phil Mickelson? It ain’t happening. Not against two guys who have spent their careers dealing with the reverberations of Tigerdom.
