Gaylord Sports Management, which includes Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley, was purchased by Lagardere which is a French conglomerate that also represents other sports as well as golf. This is the time to get into the sports business and Lagardere is doing exactly that.

The LPGA Tour has added an event in Hawaii as well as three other places while losing events in China and Mexico. This is great news for the LPGA Tour and it is possible that there will be more tournaments added either domestically and/or internationally.

He is looking forward to reading Hank Haney’s new book about his years with Tiger Woods. In his opinion, Hank Haney is underselling the book at least initially but thinks that the selling points will become juicier as it gets closer to the release date.

President Obama has played 90 rounds of golf since he got into the White House in 2009. While Obama is being heavily criticized by the Republicans, he is not the first or only President to spend a lot of time on the golf course. Dwight D. Eisenhower played over 800 rounds of golf during his 8 years in the White House and Woodrow Wilson played hundreds of rounds as well.
