RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – Stacy Lewis is getting a deeper understanding of the challenge that comes with defending a title.
It goes beyond her performance inside the ropes at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
“This is definitely the busiest week I’ve had on tour,” Lewis, 27, said. “I don’t know if that’s a disadvantage or advantage. There’s good and bad to it. I had a lot of obligations and a lot of things to do, but it’s also great to come back and here people telling me `congratulations.’ It just brings back good memories. I’m so comfortable on this golf course that it feels like I’m home, really.”
