He shot a first round 74 and after getting off to a good start, he struggled with his putter on the back nine and turned what was going to be a good round into a not so good round. He hit really good shots and he felt he played better than his 74. There was no wind on Monday and then the conditions changed dramatically on Tuesday with more wind although he still felt that there was a really low round out there on the course. He joked that he needed to birdie all 18 holes in the second round to have a chance to win the PGA Grand Slam of Golf and admitted that the increased wind in the second round will give him a chance if he plays solid golf and keeps up with McIlroy and Bradley.
