There has been a fair amount of chatter recently about the Rockies maybe trying to pry Dan Uggla away from the Marlins. Tracy Ringolsby is calling baloney on that, though:
Rockies are NOT involved in talks for 2B Dan Uggla. Haven’t talked about Uggla since winter. If Tulo is healthy don’t need middle infielder.
Nothin’ personal, but when it comes to the Rockies, I’m going to trust Ringolsby’s information before I trust Buster Olney’s. Sure, Uggla would look pretty good in a Rockies’ uniform, but if they’re not interested, they’re not interested.
