Alex Bilodeau will face fierce competition in his bid to become the first moguls skier to win consecutive gold medals (especially from his own country) but he took the best score in the qualifying round.

The final round features 20 skiers, including fellow high-end Canadian contender Mikael Kingsbury. Overall, four Canadians advanced to the final round as Philippe Marquis and Marc-Antoine Gagnon also made it.

Two Americans fought their way to the final round, too, as Patrick Deneen and Bradley Wilson get a shot at the podium. (Deneen is generally regarded as the mogul skier with the highest hopes for the U.S.)

There won’t be a ton of time for the competitors to catch their breath before the finals, as they kick in at 1 p.m. ET on Monday.
