Utah’s task against Oregon in Eugene got a little taller on Saturday as the Utes were forced to start sophomore Adam Schulz at quarterback in place of the injured Travis Wilson, who was ruled out due to a concussion.
Schulz is a former walk on who has appeared in three games this season and in five overall in his career. He entered the game with 45 attempts on the year with 22 completions for 247 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
It turned out to be a not-so-easy start for Schulz, as he was intercepted on his first series against the Ducks.
At 4-5 on the year, the Utes need to win two of their final three games to become bowl eligible.
