The last thing Oklahoma needs in their game with Texas this afternoon is for Sam Bradford to re-injure his throwing shoulder. That last thing may have actually happened.
Bradford seemed to be favoring the shoulder on the sidelines during the first quarter following a hit on a corner blitz, and did not return to the field for the Sooners’ next series. Landry Jones, who started in place of Bradford following his season-opening injury, is now on the field for the Sooners.
As noted by ABC’s sideline reporter Lisa Salters, Bradford threw a few passes on the sidelines and looked like he was in some degree of pain.
The Sooners lead 6-0 with 4:15 left in the first.
