Georgia Tech announced earlier this week that four players, including a pair of starters, would miss the Independence Bowl due to academic issues.
Today, the school announced yet another starter, among others, will be down for half the game against Air Force Monday.
According to a release, Tech acknowledged that senior defensive end Anthony Egbuniwe, junior defensive back Michael Peterson and freshman defensive back Louis Young will sit out the first half of the bowl game because they missed a team curfew.
Egbuniwe started all 12 regular season games. Young, the release reads, has been one of the top reserves in the secondary, and Peterson is a back-up corner and a member of special teams.
