Hoosier DB Antonio Allen facing multiple felony drug charges

And by multiple felony drug charges, we mean Indiana defensive back Antonio Allen was smacked upside the head with multiple felony drug charges. And this is not some innocent or innocuous marijuana deal, either.

We’ll just, eventually, go right to the hardcore particulars, right off the bat. These particulars, by the way, are courtesy of the Rivals.com‘s IU Hoosiers website.

And, if you’re keeping score at home, Allen has hit the felony drug charge lottery in historic and epic fashion.

From Rivals:

Allen is facing multiple felony counts, including:

Dealing in a narcotic drug manufacture/deliver/finance five and 10 grams;

Dealing in methamphetamine one and five grams;

Dealing in methamphetamine manufacture/deliver/finance five and 10 grams.

Allen also had a level 2 charge for dealing in heroin, which Sergeant Patton of the Monroe County Jail said meant it was more than 10 grams and involved a firearm.

Allen also had a charge for dealing cocaine, Sergeant Patton said.

Meth, heroin, cocaine, firearms, dealing, manufacturing, delivering, financing. That combination might actually be a CFT first; check that, it is a CFT first.

Not surprisingly, Allen has been indefinitely suspended by the IU football program.

“Indiana University Athletics and the IU football program are aware of the arrest of junior defensive back Antonio Allen,” the university said in a statement. “Allen has been suspended from all football activities effective immediately. We will continue to gather facts, monitor the legal process, and take further action as the evolving situation warrants.”

In 2014, Allen led the Hoosiers in tackles in starting all 12 games for Kevin Wilson‘s program.
