Florida State wide receiver Taiwan Easterling will miss spring practice after rupturing his left Achilles tendon, the Associated Press is reporting. The loss of Easterling further thins a receiving corps already hit by graduation and dismissals. Easterling’s eight starts last season were the most of any returning player on the unit.""He messed up his Achilles pretty bad,” said fellow WR Bert Reed. “I’m praying for him, as he goes through this."It’s not known at this time whether or not the injury will cause Easterling to miss any regular season games. Recovery from this type of injury could take upwards of 12 weeks, which would allow Easterling to be available for the start of the 2009 season.Provided there are no setbacks in his rehab, of course.
