Typically, this is the time of year for adding players to a roster. While that’s true for Boise State as well, the Broncos are also going to be down a pair of players for the foreseeable future.
Via the Idaho Statesman, safety Lee Hightower and Hayden Plinke have been suspended from Boise State for violating university rules. Hightower was previously suspended in October for violating team rules. He had started the first seven games of the season before falling into Chris Petersen‘s doghouse.
Plinke had just two grabs for 20 yards on the year.
