TE’O THE TROJAN?

The final offical visit Manti Te’o took on his recruiting odyssey was to the campus of USC in late January. Could that lead to a last-to-first February happy ending for Pete Carroll‘s near future?While that question won’t be officially answered until some point later today, CollegeFootballTalk.com has received an as-yet-to-be-confirmed tip that the highly-recruited five-star linebacker will announce tomorrow he’s decided to sign with the USC Trojans.Following his somewhat stunning decision to shun BYU, there has been much speculation regarding the eventual destination of the talented and consensus #1 LB in the country. Most of the discussion of late has centered on USC and Notre Dame being the prime landing spots for Te’o.All signs have seemingly been pointing toward USC, but a late push by the Fighting Irish has left the outcome of Te’O’s decision somewhat up in the air according to most of the major recruiting services.While we are not saying the Hawaii native will sign with the Trojans when it comes time to put ink to LOI paper, we are saying there is yet another sign pointing in the general direction of SoCal.
