Not only is new head coach Derek Dooley putting the finishing touches on his first Tennessee recruiting class, but he’s rounding his his initial coaching staff as well.
According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, and confirming rumors and reports that cropped up over the last 24 hours, UT officials are expected to release a statement this afternoon confirming that Boise State defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox will take the same position with the Volunteers.
Dooley will meet with the media later on this evening to discuss the players that will make up his first UT class, but Wilcox is not expected to be a part of the press conference.
The 33-year-old Wilcox has been the coordinator with the Broncos for the past four seasons.
