This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
We’ll take a look at Tuesday’s main slate starting at 7:00 ET.
POINT GUARD
Russell Westbrook - LA Lakers (vs. Charlotte) - DK: $10,400 / FD: $9,400 / Yahoo: $45
LeBron James is still sidelined for the Lakers, so most of the usage and playmaking will fall on Westbrook’s shoulders. There’s no denying that Westbrook has been up-and-down this season for the Lakers. After all, he’s coming off a terrible 1-13 shooting night against the Blazers. The good thing about Westbrook is that he won’t shy away from his shot. He can also put up fantasy points in many different categories, including free throws. I’m thinking “Westy” gets back on track against a Charlotte team that ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency to point guards this year.

SHOOTING GUARD
Terry Rozier - Charlotte (at LA Lakers) - DK: $6,400 / FD: $5,300 / Yahoo: $21
Let’s look to the other side of this matchup, as Rozier stands out as a nice bargain. The Charlotte guard had a few bad performances mixed into his game log while coming back from an ankle injury. He appears to be back on track after posting 35 minutes against the Clippers last night. Playing up in pace against the Lakers (1st in possessions/game) should keep him going.
Also Consider: Tyrese Maxey, Zach LaVine
SMALL FORWARD
Will Barton - Denver (vs. Miami) - DK: $5,500 / FD: $5,800 / Yahoo: $21
Barton is another strong mid-range bargain for tonight’s slate. The matchup isn’t going to jump off the screen, but it’s not necessarily imposing either: Miami ranks 17th in defensive efficiency to small forwards. Barton is seeing heavy minutes for the Nuggets, propelling him to 47 and 37 fantasy points respectively in his last two. The salary hasn’t caught up to his recent surge in production.
Also Consider: DeMar DeRozan, Desmond Bane
POWER FORWARD
Jaren Jackson Jr. - Memphis (vs. Minnesota) - DK: $5,800 / FD: $6,300 / Yahoo: $22
Let’s keep the theme going with another mid-range pick who could surpass their fantasy expectation. Jackson has been all over the map from a fantasy point of view to begin the season. However, he seems to be trending upward with 32 and 40 fantasy points respectively over his last two. I believe we’ll see Jackson’s good side while playing up in pace against Minnesota. It helps that the Wolves rank dead last in rebound rate so far in 2021.

CENTER
Andre Drummond - Philadelphia (vs. New York) - DK: $5,700 / FD: $5,500 / Yahoo: $20
Joel Embiid is out tonight, so you know what to do. Drummond started for Embiid earlier this season, coming up with 61 fantasy points in 33 minutes against the Blazers. While it will be difficult for him to repeat that against the Knicks, there’s not a doubt in my mind that Drummond will exceed his value expectation for this salary. He’s the best bargain on the board tonight!

POTENTIAL BARGAINS
Frank Kaminsky (PF - PHX) is trending upward with 28+ minutes and 31+ fantasy points in two of his last three games. Of course, the playing time is far from a sure thing, as he has barely played outside of those performances. Still, he’s a cheap tournament option while hoping the recent play grants him more minutes.
Desmond Bane (SF - MEM) is an interesting bargain filler at small forward. He’s coming off a 10 FP clunker, but keep in mind that Bane averaged 28 FPPG in eight games outside of that. Playing up in pace against Minnesota seems like a nice bounce-back situation.
