This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
We’ll take a look at Tuesday’s eight-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET.
POINT GUARD
Anfernee Simons - Portland (vs. Atlanta) - DK: $4,100 / FD: $3,700 / Yahoo: $10
CJ McCollum is still out for Portland, and now Damian Lillard is sidelined. That boosts Simons into the full-time point guard role tonight. He should see a full 36 minutes workload with plenty of usage and ball-handling opportunities. That makes Simons an easy value prospect when considering the near-minimum salary on all DFS sites. Roll with him through all formats!
Also Consider: LaMelo Ball, Trae Young, Tyus Jones, Reggie Jackson

SHOOTING GUARD
Will Barton - Denver (at Dallas) - DK: $6,200 / FD: $6,100 / Yahoo: $20
Monte Morris is still out for Denver, meaning Barton could pick up a little more work in the backcourt. Barton is averaging 30 FPPG this season, meaning he needs a mediocre game to hit value at his current salary. He has come through with 35+ FP in back-to-back games, and this is a potentially high-scoring matchup at Dallas.
Also Consider: Talen Horton-Tucker, Malik Beasley
SMALL FORWARD
Anthony Edwards - Minnesota (at LA Clippers) - DK: $7,700 / FD: $8,200 / Yahoo: $34
D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns are still out for Minnesota, so Edwards will pick up as much usage as he sees fit tonight. He had an off shooting night against the Lakers yesterday, but I like Ant’s bounce-back potential against the Clippers this time around. It helps that Paul George is out for LAC, which should give Edwards better individual matchups.
Also Consider: Kevin Durant, Corey Kispert
POWER FORWARD
Marcus Morris - LA Clippers (vs. Minnesota) - DK: $6,000 / FD: $6,900 / Yahoo: $20
There’s plenty of value in this Clippers-Timberwolves game. Morris has poured in 36+ fantasy points in three straight contests, and he’ll continue to see full-time work for the shorthanded Clippers. It helps that he’s playing up in pace against a Minnesota team that ranks near the bottom in defensive efficiency to opposing frontcourts as well as rebound rate.
Also Consider: Jaren Jackson, Daniel Theis
CENTER
Naz Reid - Minnesota (at LA Clippers) - DK: $4,800 / FD: $4,600 / Yahoo: $11
As mentioned earlier, Towns is still out for Minnesota. That means Naz Reid will get another start, and he looked good with 36 fantasy points across 30 minutes yesterday. There’s a chance Naz will keep it going as Minnesota leans heavily on him to produce some offense and gobble up rebounds.
Also Consider: Daniel Gafford, Nikola Jokic
POTENTIAL BARGAINS
Daniel Theis (PF - HOU) should step into a heightened role with Christian Wood not playing tonight. Theis went for 44 fantasy points the last time Wood missed a game (Dec. 16 vs. NYK).
Daniel Gafford (C - WAS) is someone worth considering through all formats tonight. Montrezl Harrell is out for Washington, and Gafford is averaging 36 FPPG over the last three with that being the case. Gafford always had strong fantasy efficiency, and now he’s getting enough playing time to put that on full display.
