Here we go with Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Lakers and Heat. Los Angeles is currently listed as 9.5 point favorites with an over/under of 216.

We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

Please note, these player picks were organized early in the day. For NBA contests, always check injury news or rotational decisions closer to game time. Rotoworld’s NBA News & Headlines Feed is an excellent resource to keep you in the loop.

Tonight’s single-game slate begins at 9:00 ET.

TOP PLAYS

Anthony Davis - PF - LA Lakers (DK: $12,200 / FD: $14,500)

Davis was recommended as the top overall pick in Game 1, and we’ll keep that sentiment tonight. “AD” posted the highest fantasy score of Wednesday’s tilt, posting 60 fantasy points in 38 minutes. Miami will be without their rim protector and glass cleaner, Bam Adebayo (listed as doubtful), tonight - which should give Davis easier matchups to feast. Go ahead and lock in AD as the MVP on FanDuel while garnering consideration for the Captain spot on DraftKings.

Jimmy Butler - SG - Miami (DK: $9,800 / FD: $14,000)

I really like Butler in the Captain spot on DraftKings. He’s cheaper than Davis and LeBron James, which allows you to stack all three in the same DK lineup. You can do this by filling out your roster with cheap fillers like Kelly Olynyk, Dwight Howard, and Andre Iguodala (more on them later). Butler will be asked to handle the offensive load with Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo sidelined, and we could see a gaudy stat-line while he attempts to even the series.

NOTABLE BARGAINS

Kelly Olynyk - C - Miami (DK: $3,000 / FD: $6,500)

As mentioned earlier, Bam Adebayo is doubtful tonight. That opens the door for Olynyk to see significant playing time. He produced 21 fantasy points in 18 minutes after Bam left early last game, and I’m projecting Olynyk for somewhere in the neighborhood of 24-28 minutes tonight. That should be more than enough to satisfy his bargain-basement salary on FanDuel and DraftKings.

Kendrick Nunn - PG - Miami (DK: $5,000 / FD: $6,500)

Nunn steps in as one of the injury replacements for Goran Dragic, who is listed as doubtful. Similar to his teammate, Olynyk, Nunn stepped up for an efficient line once Dragic left in Game 1. The rookie will look to build on his 19 minute and 27 fantasy point showing from Wednesday, and I’m expecting Nunn to log around 26-30 minutes tonight. He’s a better value on FanDuel than the marked-up $5,000 salary on DraftKings.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

LeBron James (SF - LAL) can be featured in the same lineup as Davis and Butler tonight, as I’ve laid out the blueprint to make that happen on both sites. There’s a chance James is the highest fantasy scorer of the night, but I really like Davis more without Adebayo to defend him.

Andre Iguodala (SG - MIA), Alex Caruso (PG - LAL), and Dwight Howard (C - LAL) all represent decent fillers on DraftKings. They are priced between $3k-$3.8k, which allows you to stack Butler, Davis, and James in the same lineup. Howard may have the most fragile fantasy baseline of this group, but he has clearly surpassed JaVale McGee for playing time. Dwight could flirt with 20 minutes in a more competitive game.

Jae Crowder (SF - MIA) and Danny Green (SG - LAL) represent a few value fillers I’m more interested in on FanDuel than DraftKings. They are relatively cheap over there as mid-range assets to supplement with the aforementioned top plays and bargains of this article. Crowder should see more action (and fantasy opportunities) with Dragic and Adebayo doubtful. Green has a wide range of fantasy outcomes, but he carries respectable DFS upside, which was on display with a rewarding 30 FP showing in Game 1.
