Tonight, we have a really great 10-game slate, and I’m going to focus on one game I really like in today’s article. I’m going to be stacking the Atlanta and Washington game a few different ways tonight, and I think that’s the main game on this slate to focus on. We’re still waiting on some injury news, so make sure to check all the news before lineups lock.
Let’s get into some of my top plays for FanDuel and DraftKings tonight.
Point Guard
Jeremy Lin vs. Washington Wizards
Jeremy Lin is one of my favorite tournament plays on tonight’s slate, and with the John Wall news, I don’t expect a lot of people to play him over the Washington value. After missing two games, Lin returned on Monday and played 24 minutes against the Warriors. Washington and Atlanta are both in the bottom three in defensive efficiency this season, and that’s just one of the many reasons why I love this game. Lin has at least 30 fantasy points in three of the last five games he’s played, and he could grab a few extra minutes with no Taurean Prince tonight.
Other Options: George Hill, Eric Bledsoe
Editor’s Note: If you love Fantasy Football you have to be playing on DRAFT. It’s daily fantasy football snake drafts instead of salary caps. Shooting Guard
Bradley Beal @ Atlanta Hawks
Bradley Beal is going to be one of the highest owned players tonight, and while I could see making a game theory fade on him in tournaments, I don’t see a reason why you wouldn’t play him in cash games. Washington has the highest implied team total of any team in action tonight, and they’re facing a Hawks team that is 30th in defensive efficiency this season. Beal gets a 4% usage bump with Wall off the floor this season. He has a 31.2% usage rate with Wall off the floor since the start of last season. I will note one thing: Beal averaged less fantasy points per game with Wall off the floor last season.
Other Options: Austin Rivers, Kevin Huerter

Small Forward
Otto Porter Jr. @ Atlanta Hawks
I actually like Porter more than I like Beal tonight, but I will likely play them both in this spot. Since the start of last season, Porter has a 22.7% usage rate and is averaging 1.01 fantasy point per minute with Wall off the floor. That’s a 3.6% usage bump and .08 fantasy points per minute increase. In 65.6 minutes without Wall and Howard on the floor this season, Porter is averaging 1.2 fantasy points per minute. Atlanta ranks 27th in defensive efficiency against power forwards, so with no Prince, Porter should give Atlanta fits on offense and defense.
Other Options: Kawhi Leonard, Robert Covington
Power Forward
John Collins vs. Washington Wizards
The center position is loaded tonight, and I really like the fact that we can play Collins at power forward on FanDuel. It also helps that we’re able to play two centers on DraftKings. Since returning from injury, Collins is averaging 28.3 fantasy points per game, but the minutes have really started to increase in the last five games. He posted at least 35 fantasy points in three of those five games, and without Dwight Howard, he should have a solid game against the Wizards tonight. I really think he has 50+ point upside in this very fast paced, no defense type of game.
Other Options: LaMarcus Aldridge, Montrezl Harrell
Center
Steven Adams @ Brooklyn Nets
I love Drummond tonight, but if you’re looking for a cheaper option, I like Adams a lot against the Nets. The Nets are 30th in defensive efficiency against centers, and Jarrett Allen has really struggled with big men that post-up frequently. Adams is priced-up on FanDuel, and I certainly prefer Drummond over there, but he’s still priced in the 6k range on DraftKings. I think he has 40+ point upside in this matchup, which would be a really good night at his price on DraftKings. Adams is not a high usage guy, but he’s still averaging 35 fantasy points per game this season.
Other Options: Andre Drummond, Nikola Jokic
