Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

This article aims to highlight some of the best NFL DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the week, and sometimes injury situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NFL News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at the three-game slate for Wild Card Saturday. Lineups lock at 1:05 ET with Indianapolis-Buffalo starting things off.

QUARTERBACK

Josh Allen - Buffalo (vs. Indianapolis) - DK: $7,500 / FD: $9,000 / Yahoo: $40

We have three games on this Saturday Wild Card slate, and it’s very difficult to pass on Josh Allen in any DFS format. You don’t need me to remind you of the rushing upside to go along with the potential for 300+ passing yards and 3-4 TDs. Granted, he’ll be facing a tough Colts’ defense, but Allen didn’t have much trouble against other quality opponents this season: 32 FP at NE, 19 FP vs. PIT, 30 FP at SF, etc. Sure, he’ll be popular, but go ahead and roster the Buffalo QB with confidence.

Also Consider: Tom Brady

RUNNING BACK

Jonathan Taylor - Indianapolis (at Buffalo) - DK: $7,900 / FD: $8,800 / Yahoo: $36

Taylor has several things working in his favor on Saturday, but he’s far from a 100% lock due to the cumbersome salary. In other words, don’t be afraid to look towards Carson/Jones/Akers if Taylor doesn’t organically fit into an otherwise solid lineup … Even though the Colts are listed as six-point underdogs, you better believe they’ll look to run the ball. Taylor finished the season strong with 18+ fantasy points in five straight games, including a remarkable 38 FP effort vs. Jacksonville last Sunday. His opponent, Buffalo, has allowed 4.6 yards per rushing attempt this season, which is tied for the worst mark among playoff teams (26th overall).

Chris Carson - Seattle (vs. LA Rams) - DK: $5,900 / FD: $7,000 / Yahoo: $20

Since returning from injury on November 30, Carson is averaging 15 touches, 83 yards, and 0.5 TD per game. That’s nothing to get really excited over, but it does acknowledge suitable efficiency with respectable volume. There’s a chance Carson will get even more looks with game flow on his side, as Seattle checks in as home favorites. His prospects would increase if Rams’ QB Jared Goff is out, which could help Seattle control field position and time of possession.

Also Consider: Ronald Jones II, Cam Akers

WIDE RECEIVER

Antonio Brown - Tampa Bay (at Washington) - DK: $6,100 / FD: $6,500 / Yahoo: $17

Mike Evans is a game-time decision on Saturday. Even if he plays, it’s hard to believe that he’ll be 100%. That leaves room for Antonio Brown, Chris Godwin, and others to step up. Brown went absolutely insane with a gaudy 11-138-2 line (15 targets) upon Evans’ departure last Sunday. While we can’t expect him to replicate that against Washington’s solid pass defense, the uptick in volume should spill into Saturday’s contest.

John Brown - Buffalo (vs. Indianapolis) - DK: $4,700 / FD: $5,700 / Yahoo: $17

You’ll want to stack Allen with Stefon Diggs on this slate, but don’t forget about John Brown for a much cheaper salary. He’s a nice DFS filler in my opinion, as Brown is now fully healthy after spending a good chunk of the season on IR and the COVID list. There’s a chance he’ll step up as Buffalo’s #2 receiver behind Diggs, as Cole Beasley will try to play through a knee injury. Diggs himself is battling an oblique injury, so maybe Brown will pick up more work if Stefon isn’t himself? Either way, I love Brown’s role, floor, ceiling, and salary on this slate.

Also Consider: Stefon Diggs, Terry McLaurin, Michael Pittman Jr. (better on DK & Yahoo!)

TIGHT END

Rob Gronkowski - Tampa Bay (at Washington) - DK: $3,900 / FD: $6,000 / Yahoo: $19

I really like Gronk’s salary on DraftKings, but you don’t have to stretch to roster him on FanDuel or Yahoo. Per usual, Gronkowski depends on touchdowns to produce fantasy value. The matchup is tough, but there’s a chance Gronk gets a couple more red-zone looks if Mike Evans is out/limited … Dawson Knox is a reasonable value filler if you don’t have enough cap space to make Gronkowski work.

Also Consider: Logan Thomas, Dawson Knox

DEFENSE

Seahawks Defense (vs. LA Rams) - DK: $2,700 / FD: $3,600 / Yahoo: $16

We still don’t have definitive status on Rams’ QB Jared Goff. He’ll either be playing through a dislocated right thumb or John Wolford would get the start. Regardless, this could be good for Seattle’s defense. This is the lowest over/under of the weekend (42), and the Seahawks have been much better defensively after some concerns to begin the season. They are cheap on every DFS site too.
