Here we go with the Single Game NFL DFS slate for Monday Night Football of Week 10. Today’s matchup is between the Steelers and Bears with Pittsburgh checking in as a 6.5 point home favorite. The over/under currently rests at 40 total points. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 ET.

We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

We will be producing these articles for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football matchups, so be sure to bookmark the NBC Sports EDGE DFS Page for those occasions - not to mention all the other fantastic daily fantasy content.

TOP PICKS

Najee Harris - RB - Pittsburgh (DK: $12,400 / FD: $16,500 / Yahoo: $25)

Harris has lived up to the hype for fantasy purposes this season. He’s consistently averaging 18 FP per contest while seeing some of the most volume for any running back in the league. That should continue on Monday against Chicago. Game flow is on Harris’ side, and he’s the best overall play on this slate. The matchup against the Bears doesn’t jump off the screen, but Najee makes for a reliable top pick on a slate that doesn’t have much to choose from in that category.

Diontae Johnson - WR - Pittsburgh (DK: $11,200 / FD: $13,500 / Yahoo: $27)

You can stack Harris, Johnson, and Ben Roethlisberger in the same lineup tonight. We all know that Big Ben doesn’t throw the ball downfield anymore, which is good news for Johnson’s targets on underneath routes. Diontae has seen 12 or more targets in four of his last five games, and he’s a legitimate red-zone option as well. That type of volume is unparalleled on this slate. Making matters even better, the Bears rank dead last in DVOA to WR1’s this season.

BEST BARGAINS

Chris Boswell - K - Pittsburgh (DK: $3,800 / FD: $9,000 / Yahoo: N/A)

We have an over/under of just 40 points. You know the drill! There aren’t many reliable bargains on this slate, so we can look towards Boswell and Cairo Santos as legitimate value plays. Boswell stands out as the better choice while playing for a Pittsburgh team that can move the ball at least marginally better than the Bears.

Zach Gentry - TE - Pittsburgh (DK: $1,800 / FD: $6,000 / Yahoo: $10)

This pick is site-dependent. On FanDuel and Yahoo, Pat Freirmuth is cheap enough to be considered a great value pick. Click him into your lineup with confidence. His price is (appropriately) marked-up on DraftKings, so you may need to look deeper to TE2 Zach Gentry over there. Eric Ebron is out for the Steelers, and Gentry stepped up for 3-31 on five targets last game.

TOURNAMENT LOOKS

Darnell Mooney - WR - Chicago (DK: $6,400 / FD: $10,500 / Yahoo: $15)

Mooney is listed as questionable tonight, so we’ll need to double-check his status before locking him into any lineup. I’m not expecting the Bears to be very efficient against the Steelers tonight, but game flow should force them to the air more than usual. Mooney has been one of the primary targets for Justin Fields this season. While that hasn’t yielded great fantasy results, Mooney should have plenty of chances to potentially break through.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Ben Roethlisberger (QB - PIT) is in play tonight. As mentioned earlier, I don’t mind a “Steelers onslaught” stack of Roethlisberger, Harris, and Johnson. You can throw in the Steelers’ defense for good measure too.

Chase Claypool (WR - PIT) is more of a tournament play than anything. While the second-year pro has plenty of talent, Roethlisberger just can’t get him the ball down the field … Pat Freiermuth (TE - PIT) was mentioned as a nice bargain through all formats on FanDuel and Yahoo. The marked-up price on DK is difficult to blend into a comfortable lineup.

Allen Robinson (WR - CHI) is in a similar (tournament) boat as Claypool. The talent is there, but his QB just can’t get him the football. This is an extreme risk/reward scenario, especially when accounting for Robinson’s premium salary.

David Montgomery (RB - CHI) is supposed to return tonight. This makes the Chicago backfield muddy, as Khalil Herbert (RB - CHI) will likely share snaps with Monty. Negative game flow against a solid run defense doesn’t help either of them as well.

James Washington (WR - PIT) and Cole Kmet (TE - CHI) are a few tournament bargains to keep on your list. Kmet has been seeing a handful of targets per contest, and game flow should continue that streak. Washington is a true dice roll who will need to pay off with a big play or two.
