Woods details his new practice facility in Jupiter Fla

Tiger Woods said he that he will soon be moving into his Jupiter, Fla., home and detailed his new practice facility there in Monday’s tigerwoods.com newsletter.

‘It’s phenomenal. Working with my team, I designed the short-game facility and oversaw its construction. It features four greens, six bunkers with different depths and kinds of sand, a video center and a putting studio. If no wind is blowing, the longest club I can hit is a 7-iron. It’s also set up so I can hit shots out of my second-story studio,’ Woods wrote.

He lamented his opening-round loss to Thomas Bjorn at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, and wasn’t about to predict a victory anytime soon.

‘When will I win again?’ he asked rhetorically. ‘Whenever it happens, it happens. I’m just going to keep trying to progress.’

As for that swing ‘progress,’ Woods said that he is ‘light years ahead of where I was at the end of the summer. The biggest thing is understanding what shot to hit and how to adjust my ball flight.’

Woods also took time to congratulate the new Ryder Cup captains, U.S. skipper Davis Love III and European leader Jose Maria Olazabal.
