Khloe Kardashian: Lamar Odom doesn’t know how brain injury occurred, I can’t tell him

Lamar Odom reportedly overdosed after taking multiple drugs last month, causing a stroke and putting the former NBA player in a coma.

His not-yet-ex wife Khloe Kardashian provided an update.

Kardashian on the Ellen show:

We tell him he had a brain injury. I can’t tell him how that brain injury was caused, because it will set him back.

He’s never asked why he’s here. He’s never asked. Yeah, no, he’s never asked.

He’s really confused a lot, so we have to remind him. Every day is different.

She also addressed the James Harden of it all:

I have a great boyfriend, who’s been very understanding.

It’s definitely a very unique situation, to say the least.

Even if Odom recovers – which is probably a relative term – he faces more problems.Associated Press:

On Monday, a prosecutor said her office is considering a felony drug charge against Odom after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.

Nye County District Attorney Angela Bello said the sheriff’s office submitted the potential charge last week, and a prosecutor is considering filing a count of unlawful use of cocaine or being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bello declined to discuss details of what is expected to be a weeks-long investigation by her office.

Authorities investigating a possible cocaine overdose by Odom got a warrant Oct. 13 to take a blood sample while he was hospitalized in critical condition after a weekend at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada.
