Kobe Bryant will “try” to play Thursday vs. Warriors

Los Angeles Lakers v Sacramento Kings

Kobe Bryant may get to make his final Oracle Arena curtain call after all. He played just 15 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Pelicans after experiencing some soreness in his right Achilles. But facing the best team in the league on TNT, he’s going to give it a go.

The phrase “try to play” doesn’t sound like he’s feeling great about his health. But now that Bryant has embraced the farewell-tour aspect of his entire season, he’s making every effort to give his fans in every road city one final game. This is the Lakers’ last scheduled game in Oakland, so it would serve as Kobe’s final farewell there.
