It was an interesting play call. With the game on the line the Celtics got the ball to Rondo, ran Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett up to set screens, and when Rondo went right he didn’t try to drive the lane, he waited for the expected switch (everybody switches late in games) so that Jrue Holiday was on KG then threw up the lob.

Smart play recognizing the mismatch. Of course, if the Sixers had recognized this and defended better it would have been a Rondo three for the win, and you can live with that.

As it was, Garnett and the Celtics hand the Sixers another tough loss.
