Blackhawks d-man Michal Rozsival won’t have a disciplinary hearing for his big hit on Minnesota’s Jason Zucker during Sunday’s outdoor game at TCF Bank stadium, per the Chicago Tribune.
Rozsival was given a five-minute interference minor and game misconduct for the hit, which forced Zucker from the game entirely.
The 24-year-old was shaken up on the play and had to be helped from the ice, though it appeared some of the damage was caused by Zucker’s head hitting the ice following the hit.
Following the contest, the Star-Tribune reported that Zucker is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
