Brad Marchand is an agitator. So is Brendan Gallagher. So, it really shouldn’t have come as any surprise what would happen at the opening faceoff of Saturday’s pivotal Game 5.
Marchand of the Boston Bruins and Gallagher of the Montreal Canadiens got tangled up, going to the ice before the puck was dropped. They lined up against each other again, following a brief chat from referee Wes McCauley. Later on in the period, the two would be sent to the penalty box, each with unsportsmanlike conduct minors.
Marchand and Gallagher are made for each other aren't they? One sideshow to keep an eye on anyway.
