Last season his Ks per inning dropped drastically on the road compared to at home. Gonzales posted 0.66 Ks per inning on the road and 0.83 at home while recording similar ERA’s (3.93-3.97).
Although I lost Gonzales Under 4.5 Ks in the past outing, he was at home and barely hit the Over, throwing 94 pitches in 4.2 innings with six hits and six runs.
In his two career trips to Tampa Bay, Gonzales recorded five and three strikeouts for eight total in 12.1 combined innings. I like the matchup with Gonzales on the road.
