Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell and wide receiver Michael Crabtree are both expected to play in the Red Raiders’ bowl game despite suffering injuries Saturday against Baylor.Pat Forde of ESPN.com reports that Harrell played with two shattered fingers on his non-throwing hand and needed four hours of surgery Sunday on his pinkie and ring finger, with 17 pins and two plates inserted in his hand to heal nine separate breaks.According to Forde, Harrrell’s response to the injury was simply to tell trainers, “Tape my hand up. I’m going out."Crabtree missed most of the Baylor game with a sprained ankle but should be good to go in time for a bowl game, most likely the Cotton Bowl against Ole Miss. Both Harrell and Crabtree could be Heisman Trophy finalists; the winner will be announced on December 13.
