To say that Steve Spurrier is one of the best quotes in all of college football would be a massive understatement. To say that he is the best quote in college sports would likely be dead-on accurate.
To that end, it was the HBC’s turn at the podium for Day 2 of the SEC Media Days, and, as has been the case for the last quarter century or so, he didn’t disappoint. Riffing on subjects that ranged from the age of media members to the Confederate flag to his quarterback situation to Dustin Johnson‘s three-putt at the U.S. Open to Hillary Clinton/Donald Trump, Spurrier seemed as lively as ever, even as some are speculating that this could very well be the OBC’s final SEC Media Days appearance.
With that in mind, here are some of the highlights, Twitter-style, of what may or may not be the curtain dropping on Spurrier’s SEC Media Days career.
