Yankees OF prospect Jeff Hendrix clubbed a career-high five hits Wednesday in a win for Low-A Charleston.
He scored three of Charleston’s seven runs as the RiverDogs’ came from behind for a 7-5 win over Greenville. Hendrix singled four times and doubled once. The 22-year-old hasn’t hit for much power (one homer in 150 at-bats) but he’s made up for it by logging eight steals without getting caught. Hendrix has raised his average from .207 to .247 during his four-game hitting streak.
