Already hit with the loss of starting linebacker Dont’a Hightower, Alabama has learned they will be without one of the potential replacements at the position for the next two games.
Jerrell Harris, who has already missed the first four games, will not be eligible to return until the Oct. 17 game against South Carolina, head coach Nick Saban announced today.
From the Mobile Press-Register:
Alabama coach Nick Saban said during today’s press conference that Harris will miss six games, meaning he’ll be back for the South Carolina game Oct. 17. As has been reported, UA compliance has investigated whether Harris obtained impermissible benefits, which would violate NCAA rules. The school deferred to the NCAA on the ruling.Saban said UA received the information Friday night on Harris.
