With the deadline for draft-eligible players looming, USC quarterback Mark Sanchez has yet to announce his intentions publicly. And, according to one All-American teammate, there’s a very good reason for that.”I think he’s really torn,” safety Taylor Mays, who himself announced earlier this week that he will return to SoCal, said. “He’s gone back and forth. I told him regardless of what he does, he’s a friend and I support him."According to the Los Angeles Daily News, though, there is a definite lean to Sanchez’s intentions.Citing several sources, The Daily News is reporting Sanchez is leaning toward leaving college and making himself available for the 2009 NFL draft. Part of the reasoning behind his presumptive decision, the paper said, is it’s believed Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford is leaning toward returning to Oklahoma.Bradford has given no public indications as to what his intentions may be, although his head coach, Bob Stoops, seems to think he has a good idea which way his QB will go.Neither player has announced when they will make their decisions known.
