For those of you who made the fantasy playoffs, congrats! To those who didn’t, there are still plenty of avenues to get a good sweat going each Sunday including DFS, sports betting, and prop betting. Before we dive into the weather this week be sure to check out Ian Hartitz’ Matchup Manifesto.

Wet Weather Expected

NY Giants at Philadelphia (8:15 PM ET, Monday): We are still a few days away from this one but at the moment we are expecting 56-degree temperatures, light rain, and 11 MPH winds. Both the rain and wind are something to keep an eye on but nothing to act on for the time being. All players should be started as normal.

Week 14 Rankings: WRs

Windy Weather

Baltimore at Buffalo (1:00 PM ET): The Ravens could be playing in inclement weather for the second-straight week. This week’s contest against the Buffalo Bills is expected to see 34-degree temperatures, overcast skies, and 17 MPH winds. As we’ve talked about throughout the season, 15 MPH winds are when we start to see a decline in completion percentage and yards per attempt from quarterbacks. The impact when wind speeds are between 15-20 MPH is minimal so there isn’t much we should do for the time being. If wind speeds climb above 20 MPH I would take caution on players like John Brown and Hollywood Brown. Both Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen add enough value with their legs that they’ll still be solid fantasy producers.

Cincinnati at Cleveland (1:00 PM ET): Baker Mayfield and the Browns host the one-win Bengals this week. 44-degree temperatures with overcast skies, and 16 MPH winds are expected. For the time being, I’m still willing to roll the dice on Mayfield in a great matchup but if wind speeds climb above 20 MPH I’ll likely be avoiding him and his pass-catchers. The same goes for Andy Dalton, Auden Tate, and Tyler Boyd.

Worry-Free Weather

Indianapolis at Tampa Bay (1:00 PM ET): The Colts are accustomed to playing indoors but luckily won’t play in any poor weather. 74-degree temperatures, mostly cloudy skies, and a seven MPH breeze is expected. Start all fantasy options as normal.

Miami NY Jets (1:00 PM ET): The Jets are somehow five-point favorites against a Miami team that has periodically shown life this season. 39-degree temperatures, clear skies, and four MPH are expected which means you can fire up all fantasy options from this one.

Washington at Green Bay (1:00 PM ET): The Redskins ripped off a massive win as an underdog against the Panthers last week and will look to do the same this week against the Packers. 36-degree temperatures, overcast skies, and 12 MPH winds are expected.

LA Chargers at Jacksonville (4:05 PM ET): Gardner Minshew is back in as the starter for the Jags and will take on the struggling Chargers. Neither team should be impacted by the weather as 66-degree temperatures 10 MPH winds, and mostly cloudy skies are expected.

Tennessee at Oakland (4:25 PM ET): The forecast calls for 57-degree temperatures, mostly cloudy skies, and six MPH winds for this one. All fantasy options should be started as normal from this one.

Kansas City at New England (4:25 PM ET): The rematch of the AFC championship game might get a little chilly but nothing that either side can’t handle as 33-degree temperatures, partly cloudy skies, and seven MPH winds are expected.

Seattle at LA Rams (8:20 PM ET): This NFC West showdown is an important game for both teams in the playoff race. Neither team should be impacted by the weather as 61-degree temperatures partly cloudy skies, and nine MPH winds are expected.
