Padraig Harrington is again inside the top 100 in the world ranking, following his win at the Honda Classic.
Harrington jumped 215 spots in the latest ranking, moving from No. 297 to No. 82 after defeating Daniel Berger on the second extra hole at PGA National. It’s the highest ranking since August 2013 for Harrington, who dropped as low as No. 385 late last year.
The victory was Harrington’s first on the PGA Tour since the 2008 PGA Championship, and it came 10 years after he won his first Tour event at the Honda when it was played at the Country Club of Mirasol.

Harrington was not the only player making a big move after Monday’s finish, as Berger jumped 100 spots to No. 73 after a final-round 64. The rookie now has five top-25 finishes in six starts this year, highlighted by Monday’s playoff loss.
Paul Casey followed a runner-up at the Northern Trust Open with a T-3 finish at PGA National, and as a result the Englishman moved up 20 spots to No. 45, netting a spot in this week’s WGC-Cadillac Championship. Other moves included Ian Poulter, who went from No. 36 to No. 28 with his T-3 finish, and Russell Knox went from No. 98 to No. 77 with his second straight top-three finish at the Honda.
The top five in the rankings remain the same, with Rory McIlroy followed by Bubba Watson, Henrik Stenson, Jason Day and Adam Scott. Jim Furyk jumped Sergio Garcia for the No. 6 spot, with Garcia followed by Justin Rose, Jordan Spieth and Martin Kaymer.
Still in the midst of a self-imposed break from competition, Tiger Woods dropped five spots to No. 75.
