The U.K.-based betting house has Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson currently listed as co-favorites for next week’s PGA Championship at 8-to-1. Never mind that Woods posted his worst round ever at Firestone on Sunday (77) and Mickelson was headed for a closing 80.
Then again, those closest to the situation largely agree Woods is closer than his scores indicate.
“It would be a very naïve and very foolish man who writes Tiger Woods off,” Padraig Harrington said on Sunday.
