Quantity over quality. Pat Gillick may fool some fans by picking up the additional prospects, but he’s really getting just a quality shortstop prospect and a lefty specialist in return for a superstar outfielder and a decent starter. Henry, a 2005 first-round pick, hasn’t even put up decent results yet. He’s hitting .237/.326/.350 in the South Atlantic League.
