Start time for Wednesday’s Orioles-Tigers game moved up

Oakland Athletics v Detroit Tigers - Game One

The Tigers announced on Tuesday that the start time for Wednesday’s home game against the Orioles has been moved up to 1:10 PM due to impending inclement weather. The Tigers are allowing fans who are unable to attend the game due to the new start time exchange their tickets at any time for any future similar-or-lesser-priced regular season game in the next 12 months, excluding Opening Day 2019.

We have seen a rash of postponements lately, so this solution is certainly better than having yet another game to make up down the road. The Orioles did not play their series finale in Boston on Monday due to inclement weather.

The Orioles’ Kevin Gausman is still scheduled to take on the Tigers’ Matt Boyd on Wednesday.
