Stan Musial’s funeral took place today. The eulogy was given by Bob Costas, who Musial had specifically asked to speak. He started out with one of the better Yogi Berra quotes you’ll ever hear: “Always go to your friends’ funerals. Otherwise, they won’t come to yours.” And the rest of it was excellent.
