Mets acquired LHP Nicolas Carreno from the Pirates in exchange for Josh Walker.
Carreno is an 18-year-old who is listed at 5-foot-10, 155-pounds and hasn’t played above the DSL league as of yet. He’s essentially a lottery ticket at this stage in his career.
