In a matter of eight months we’ll be preparing to witness the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
As part of the build up to the milestone for the 2.5-mile track, IMS is undergoing renovations to make the fan experience even more memorable.
J. Douglas Boles, the track’s president, gave media members a tour of the track to show off the progress of “Project 100.” Of note: fencing updates, beams removed to improve sight lines and a new roof for the upper deck on the front stretch.
